Hillary 2016?

A good start to a stump speach by HRC:

Great nations need organizing principles, and “Don’t do stupid stuff” is not an organizing principle. It may be a necessary brake on the actions you might take in order to promote a vision.

Peace, progress, and prosperity. This worked for a very long time. Take prosperity. That’s a huge domestic challenge for us. If we don’t restore the American dream for Americans, then you can forget about any kind of continuing leadership in the world. Americans deserve to feel secure in their own lives, in their own middle-class aspirations, before you go to them and say, “We’re going to have to enforce navigable sea lanes in the South China Sea.” You’ve got to take care of your home first. That’s another part of the political messaging that you have to engage in right now. People are not only turned off about being engaged in the world, they’re pretty discouraged about what’s happening here at home.

The rest of the interview is really good. Is it long, but I recommend reading the whole thing!

Between the book tour and the other press lately, it certainly looks like the campaign machine is gearing up!

Looking Forward to Meeting Nathan

Not much time left to get ready for this little guy... I think we've got everything we need now to bring him home from the hospital. There is still some stuff I'd like to get done before he comes, but we'll make do if he comes a bit early!

Here are some of my favorite ultrasound pictures we have from the pregnancy. I really just can't wait to meet this little guy!!

Today is officially 38 weeks in... only 2 weeks to go (if not less).  Can't wait!!

A cold and drizzly Sunday

Just enjoying a quiet evening at home with my wonderful wife on this cold and rainy Sunday night. The warm glow of an Apple Pumpkin candle is making the place smell great! It seems to really fit with the weather outside.

As much as we enjoy our jobs, the weekends just aren't long enough and we're never quite ready to go back on Monday mornings.  So we are doing our best to enjoy these quiet evenings together while we still can...
